The Old Rectory Dental Practice is now a successful implant referral practice providing implants for many local dentists in this area. Dr Wood has placed and restored over 500 implants with great success.

As well as providing implants Dr Wood and his associate cover all aspects of dentistry from routine fillings to more extensive cosmetic procedures like crowns bridgework, veneers and whitening.
We have two dedicated hygienist/therapists who provide excellent advice on how to maintain your oral health.

Dr Caroline King our Orthodontist visits the practice weekly and she is able to offer a broad range of teeth straightening solutions including Invisalign and Incognito (Invisible braces)

My training, work experience and any achievement

Dr Wood qualified in London in 1982 and after some time working in hospital denitistry and general practice, both in the Uk and overseas, gained a diploma in genral dental practice from the Royal College of Surgeons
In 2006 he was awarded the prestigious Diploma in Implant Surgery form The Royal College Of Surgeons and in 2010 gained a Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons.
